I've been making this for years and unfortunately have no real recipe written down; I just add some of this and a little of that and it comes out great every time.
I start by cutting off a slice of tofu - the size varies every time.
I put about five (5) frozen strawberries in a blender and cover generously with orange juice. I then add a banana and the tofu.
Blend and enjoy!

For extra nutrition, I sometimes add wheat germ or ground flax seed if I have it on hand.
Honey can be blended in as a sweetener, although I've never really thought it made much of a difference.
I remember you gave me this recipe when I had my tonsils taken out! It was very tasty!!! However, I also remember the orange juice not being the best idea to swallow right after having my tonsils out! :) It did taste good though!!!
ReplyDeleteYep, its true: I've made this smoothie almost every single day for a week now. I like it. Something about its simplicity and range of fanagling (how do you spell fanaegeling?). Please more no-bake recipes for my lazy summer coming up. Its an official request.
